HostNexus is a very good web hosting company. Their small packages are not especially cost-effective, but their bigger packages are very interesting indeed. This is a serious company, not very big but not small either. I am seriously impressed by the knowledgeable posts that Laurence, the owner, posts at Webhostingtalk.

Note that they're rather new at offering Windows hosting and in my opinion a conclusion about the level of their Windows hosting cannot be reached at this point.

"I am currently looking into their services. I am not a customer, but Ill explain my thought process.
1. Their servers are at Rackspace.com, the best dedicated server and colo facility hands down. That means you're going to get virtually 100% uptime. Major plus.
2. Their prices are extremely reasonable. Another great plus.
3. They allow 100 mySQL connections, that's twice as much as any other hosting company I know. Another major plus
4. Their support forums seem busy, and I have found the staff to be extremely responsive. Another great point.
And the ONLY negative I can think of, bandwidth overages are expensive. This is not their fault though, they pay a lot for the bandwidth and mark it just a bit. I'm just worried that I'm launching a service soon, and bandwidth consumption could get large, I just don't want to get stuck with a huge fee.
Oh, another tiny issue, they use the Plesk control panel, I'm not a huge fan of it. It is extremely stable, which is a huge plus.
Would I go with them if? I definitely would if I knew my bandwidth consumption would fit into one of their plans. Hope this helps a bit. Good luck"

"I am a current customer with Hostnexus, have been since April 2002, both as a client for my personal sites and as a reseller. (...) Personal Touch - What made the decision a definite to stay with them, and move all items there is the personal touch. I have seen them install software for people, help them debug / tweak scripts, and stick with them until they are happy. This is something I NEVER had happen at other hosts. This is not standard policy for them, just a nice touch they provide to help out clients."

"I've been with Host Nexus since March 2002, and couldn't be happier. The prices are reasonable and, as Middleground said, their uptime is great and support is excellent.
Laurence and Mike go the extra mile for clients and then some - I'm not surprised that Middleground is moving the rest of his accounts over, as I've seen other people do the same. I started with one domain, and I'm up to three now, all hosted with them.
Best thing to do is visit the community forum (a great place to learn and get support of all kinds) or talk to Laurence (NexDog) directly."
