CartikaHosting has enjoyed a solid reputation as an H-Sphere provider for years now. They might not be as often talked about as other companies, they may not be the cheapest provider out there, but they more than make up for both through consistency, and that's a very valuable thing in this day and age, there are not that many things one can rely on.
Over time Andrew, the owner, has been able to shape my view
into accepting that more than one control panel has a place under the
Sun, and that more than one of them deserves to be supported. Diversity
can ultimately only be a good thing for the end user. 
Note: They're a Canadian company, but their servers are in US.
Now that I'm done with the introduction, you can go ahead and read these customer reviews that I've found at WebHostingTalk.com, and gave me the confidence to list them on my site.

"I have been with Cartika on a shared hosting account for 2
months now, and felt it was time to review their excellent service.
Network
It has been fantastic. I generally get great speeds with as few hops as
possible. Able to upload at over 80kbps, a nice change from my old host
where I could up about 15kbps on a good day. Download speeds are great
all over NA and even UK. Quite impressed with it. I'm not aware of any
down time, but I don't have any trackers on it. (...)
Support
Just like to say Thank you! to andrew and the team. This is the first
time I've ever played with h-sphere and they had no problem helping me
out every time I had a question. Without a doubt they go above and
beyond, considering getting a dedicated from them for my new project."

option and had a chat with Andrew who eased my worries and helped me

UPTIME:
Since November last year uptime has been fantastic (compared to the
others I have hosted with). Currently 99.876% total uptime has been
achieved.
The only downtime was for scheduled maintenance which was posted in
advance on the forum.

SUPPORT
One of the best things about Cartika is the high level of support.
Apart from the ticketing support system there is the live chat option
on the web site where the majority of my questions have been answered
satisfactory. There is also a friendly members and guest forum which I
have recently started using.
My tickets have been answered within a hour during office hours (I
haven't opened a ticket outside normal hours so can't comment on
resolution times).(...)"

truely sleep at night knowing I won't have angry customers in the

I've had NO downtime whatsoever (except for a small glitch, but that
was quickly fixed - and it wasn't really even service affecting). (...)
While they might be a bit pricier than most WHT hosts (and for good
reason, I might add), they do make up for their fees in service
reliability, support as well as just being all around nice people and

"I'll chime in for Cartika. I cannot say enough good about them without looking like a cheerleader for their services. I have been with them for a few years or so (losing track of time). I have sent many businesses and resellers their way that require maximum reliability and uptime. Their service to price/value cannot be beat and if you need support you cannot find more educated staff. You will NEVER hear "we are going to have to elevate this to level x support staff" - the support staff can handle any issue with their service you may have. I use a lot of scripts along with the clients I send them and have never had issues with performance as they keep a close watch on servers, accounts, and server resources used/required.(...)"

My comment: H-Sphere has a Fantastico-like feature now, called EasyApp.

cartikahosting. Their
clustered system allows for load sharing of sorts. I have not had one
client call and say their site was slow or down. All of my own sites
have performed smoothly and without hitch. I tell my associates that I
now use the "Mercedes Benz of hosting".
To keep this review fair and unbiased, I will say that there are some
"weaknesses" in my point of view. First off, there is no shell access
on shared accounts and the reseller control panel is confusing. There
are no install apps that I am aware of like Fantastico that are areally

If you want speed and website reliability, go with Cartika. I recommend

through their chat and on the phone.
We have them host a SQL database wich contains all our client data,
resumes and our calendars, needless to say we need this data at all
times and speed is a big factor. Before we would get timeouts wich
would crash our software, those crashes are now a thing of the past.
Heads up to the people at Cartika
for a job well done. We really feel like we joined a quality provider
wich is what we were looking for. We have a business to run and we need
a partner to host our data and web site. Our business is not
technology. We need technology to make our business better an in order
