Clook.net is among the companies with an impressive track of positive reports from customers, gathered throughout the years. That's no surprise though, if we take a good look at their approach to hosting and business in general, which emphasizes quality over quantity. They offer both UK and US based hosting. Those of you needing UK based hosting should be pleased by this.

Here are some of the reviews I've read over at WebHostingTalk.com and convinced me that they deserve to be listed on my site:

Thread starter: Darktwist

Web hosting review author: Laci

My Comment: Laci's been a customer and ardent fan of BlueWho, but decided to move after it was sold, in the midst of transition related issues. She seems to have a talent for spotting out good hosts though.

(...)Clook.net is very solid (...) The support , documentation the care they put into the company is great... the up time is wonderful and they offer value added services like the ability to use their Alertra stats vis a script that one of the staff wrote.

Web hosting review author: I, Brian

My comment: It is recommendable to read the entire thread in order to draw a more accurate conclusion.

I have a reseller account with clook and support is great. However, I shied away from buying into their dedicated servers because there's no SLA attached to them. Although an SLA isn't a necessity, it helps provide important peace of mind that - in the event of something going critically wrong - you have people who will fix the situation within a specific timeframe, or offer credits in return. (...)

If you can afford Clook, go with Clook. That is based upon my experiences with both companies. Clook dedicated servers are located in GNAX as far as I know. The VPS/VDS are either ServInt/DedicatedNOW or Dinix. But, pre-sales questions will need to be asked for that.

Support -9/10

* response is very FAST
* Techs are very knowledgable and proactive
* look into issues and tickets in depth to get it done.

I especially appreciate the last point and wish clook.net to keep it up because I have seen some one who is declining on this

2. NAC Network and others -9/10

Network is stable and fast. I also notice that clook.net does check and monitor network quiet tightly.

3. Price is good
